As members of the NRLA we do our best to be responsible landlords and follow the best practices promoted by the Association, hence the following information.
When vacancies occur, we welcome interest from potential tenants who satisfy a few criteria and these are detailed below.
1) You must have the right to rent in the UK. and the following groups of people currently have an unlimited right to rent:
British citizens
Irish citizens
Individuals who have the right of abode in the UK
Individuals granted settlement
Individuals granted settled or pre-settled status under the EUSS,
If you are not in the above list, please let us know your immigration status.
2) Are you able to provide acceptable references from your employers, previous landlords etc?
3) Are you able to provide a guarantor who is able to provide acceptable references from their employers, previous landlords etc?
4) Are you over 18 years old?
We will require a small holding deposit that will not be returned if any of the above prove unsatisfactory, or you change your mind about taking the tenancy. Full details will be provided with the request for the deposit.
